Our Chapter, the 663rd chapter of Alpha Phi Omega, was founded on March 23, 1991 in Griffith Hall Room 336. That night, 18 brothers and 3 advisors took an oath to bring the spirit of Alpha Phi Omega to this campus and the Alpha Gamma Iota chapter was born. And even though those founding brothers are no longer at the school, their spirit will never be forgotten…for it lives in each brother who wears a service pin on their chest.
On our very diversified campus, we try to support the cardinal principles of Leadership, Friendship, and Service. We are involved in various community service projects such as; the biannual USP Blood Drive, USP Idol, Tent City, Merit Badge Day, AIDS Walk, and Diabetes Walk. At various times throughout each semester we also have fellowship events to develop friendship between the brothers, pledges, and friends of the fraternity. For more information about our Fraternity please read the Service, Fellowship, and APO National pages of our website.
